Oh how I love the Spring Market at High Point! It’s the event of the season when it comes to Residential Design, and sets the tone for upcoming interior trends. After seeing what S/25 has to offer, I can confirm that it’s a beautiful evolution of the trends we saw at S/24.
For those who may have missed it, here are just a few of the highlights:
Organic Textures and Shapes
We saw this trend emerging last year, and it’s really taken hold of this season. Lots of curved details on furniture and a general move towards softer, more natural forms were seen on the showroom floor.
Classic Home LA – Curved upholstery

Palecek Hand Wrapped Lighting - Natural Abaca Rope

Reinventing Traditional Design
Traditional design is making a comeback with a twist. Think of traditional chair silhouettes and introducing them in bold modern lacquered colors. Or modern patterns harmonizing in wallpapers and fabrics throughout the home. There’s also been a resurgence of parquetry!
Thibuat – Wallpaper and Fabric in Plaid

Modern History – Parquetry

Caramels and Warm Neutrals
Bold colors are still here to stay, however, warm neutrals took the stage this year. Muted oranges, caramel, and deep reds were all present at S/25. This color trend pairs rather nicely with the move towards traditional!
Fairfield – Caramel and Deep Warm Neutrals

Paul Robert Furniture – Warm Neutrals

Spring Market at High Point always inspires me creatively, and I hope this small recap of the event does the same for you!
