Our client is the busy owner of her own company. When she and her husband commissioned us to work on a master bedroom makeover, she explained that while many areas of their home in a luxury high-rise in downtown Manhattan had been updated over the years, their master bedroom had always been short-changed in the process. They pined to finally have the master bedroom suite of their dreams. Something that felt as wonderful as a lovely hotel suite that they might stay in while on vacation.
We met, talked over some of the details that we suggested to make her dreams come true, received a photo of a room she admired and she left on a business trip.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
We quickly devised a strategy to translate our new client’s dreams, and our firm’s ideas, into reality. The team created plans; worked with subcontractors to obtain bids and shopped for furnishings, custom built-ins, lighting, wallcovering, carpets and more. In just a few weeks we presented her with two contrasting proposals. She selected one and we went to work.
Project managing the entire process, we: removed the wall-to-wall carpeting and old built-ins; designed a Feng Shui friendly furniture flow configuration; customized the color scheme and electrical layout; created a custom vanity to compliment master bedroom furnishings,
and integrated custom furnishings (including a glamorous chandelier that was sure to impress). Then all that was left to do was to present the finished product.
Our client was thrilled! Now at the end of their busy days raising a family, running their separate businesses and more, this couple has a space of serenity and five-star luxury in which to enjoy a bit of well-deserved downtime. Better than any vacation, don’t you think?
