Upper West Side Pre-war Estate Home

This pre-war apartment had been lived in by its owners for over 60 years.  Now that the children are grown and no longer need the apartment they were eager to sell. The entire apartment was gravely in need of an overall, but with a tight budget we proposed a few minor renovations including removal of wall to wall carpeting, wood floor clean up, organizational ideas and fresh paint to lighten and modernize the space. A few key furnishings were staged to highlight the gracious life-style of this lovely home in the desirable Upper West Side of Manhattan.

 

In order for a new family to see the potential of the space we prepared alternate renovation plan options to illustrate how the space can be reconstructed and renovated in order to utilize the square footage to create a larger kitchen, add an additional bedroom and expand a petite powder room to a full three piece bathroom. It is now ready to welcome a new family!
